Mandala Mind & Body- Earth

  • Margate yoga 160 Northdown Road Margate, England, CT9 2QN United Kingdom (map)

Based on the element specific to this day in the Mayan calendar, join Veronica and Cherelle on a Mandala Vinyasa and Sound Healing journey through Earth. Moving creatively, 360 degrees around our mats, Veronica will guide you through the Mandala Vinyasa practice where you’ll focus on lengthening your hamstrings and creating space that enables you to fold deeper. This grounding practice will activate Muladhara Chakra, your root source of stability.

You will then transition into a sound healing with the primal and penetrating drum for the second half of the workshop. An ancient instrument of our ancestors, this drum journey will bring you into connection with Grandmother Earth and the deep wisdom of all that has come before humanity. Expect to leave feeling centred and balanced for your week ahead.

This workshop welcomes all levels and is for you if:

  • You’re feeling stressed and want to feel more grounded.

  • You love to challenge your body and mind

About your facilitators

Veronica is a 200hr RYS yoga teacher based between Margate and London. She has trained with The Yoga People and Good Life Yoga School and focuses her teachings and practices in Ashtanga, Ashtanga Vinyasa (Rocket), Mandala and Yin. Her classes draw inspiration from both the strength and structure of the Ashtanga Vinyasa and also from the playfulness and creativity from an artistic background. At the heart of her practice is a steady breath and she aims to guide students to develop strength, stamina and mobility, uniting both physical and anatomical teachings in her classes. Veronica is passionate about sharing the wonderful healing powers of this practice. @veronicakadiyoga
